Language Requirements

Students ARE NOT required to speak English and Italian to enroll in Preschool, Kindergarten, Grade 1, or Grade 6. Applicants to Grades 2 through 5 and Grades 7 and 8 will be assessed individually for their readiness for bilingual learning.  Differentiation and after school tutoring will be available to support students in language learning.

Application Process

We will use OpenApply as our application and enrollment platform. This system  is widely used by international schools in Milan, across Italy, and throughout Europe. It supports a clear and transparent application and enrollment experience. 

When your application is in OpenApply, you will be able to easily follow next steps, upload documents, register for events, and view admissions decisions directly in one platform.

2026 - 2027 Tuition and School Fees, Family Discount, and Payment Schedule

Founding Family Rates Approved

In response to the strong enthusiasm and growing interest many families are showing in our school, and as a way of honoring their pioneering spirit, the La Scuola International School Board of Directors is pleased to announce the following founding-family benefits for those enrolling for the 2026–27 academic year:

1. Founding family tuition rates
   Families enrolling for the 2026–27 academic year will receive discounted tuition for the entire duration of their child’s enrollment, through Grade 8. 
    
2. Benefits for families with multiple children
   Families enrolling two or more children at the same time will receive a full waiver of the €2,300 registration fee for the second child and any additional children.
    
3. Benefits for families transferring in
   Students transferring into La Scuola International School in grades 2, 3, 4, and 5 from another school in Milano will have their one-time registration fees waived (even if enrolling a single student).
    
4. Exchange opportunities
   Founding families will receive free tuition for two-weeks of summer camp at one of La Scuola International School's Bay Area campuses for one summer, travel and lodging not included. 

These initiatives are designed to thank our early families for their trust and commitment, and to provide long-term value and stability as our school grows.
 

2026 - 27 La Scuola International School, Milano Tuition & Fees
FOUNDING FAMILY RATES

Additional family discounts: a 5% tuition discount will be applied to a second concurrently enrolled sibling. A 10% tuition discount will be applied to the third and each additional sibling concurrently enrolled.

Payment Schedule: The Registration Fee is due within 10 days from acceptance letter. All remaining Tuition & School Fees can be paid in one of the following two ways: 

1. Early payment in full by May 31st, 2026 (with a 3% discount on Tuition), or
2. 40% by 30 April, 2026, 30% by 30 September, 2026, 30% by 31 January, 2027

Corporate rate: a 1,200 € increase will be applied when companies are paying tuition.
